Shane Reese

Shane Reese of Runcorn Chess Club passed away yesterday, aged 86 years. He was a very popular figure amongst the chess community and will be sadly missed.

Our condolences go to Jon and all the family.

David Williams of St Helens Chess Club sadly passed away suddenly last week.

Funeral

Tuesday 1st June 2010

Service : 10:00hr @ Our Lady's, Portico Lane, Prescot, L34 2QT
followed by cremation at St Helens Crematorium.

Wake : 11:30hr @ Sprayhurst Social Club, Boundary Road, St Helens, WA10 2LR

Dave will be a missed by all at St Helens and by his friends throughout the league.

Sorry to report that Dave Williams passed away this week, apparently very sudden. No further information at present.

St Helens (2) 2 - 3 Skelmersdale

Congratulations to Skelmersdale who beat St Helens 2 to win the Kalmar Shield 2010.
