St.Helens Chess Club Details
St Helens Chess Club meet at 7:30pm on Wednesday evenings at :-
Sprayhurst Social Club,
Boundary Road,
St Helens,
Merseyside.
(Opposite Queens Park Recreation Centre.)
We cater for both strong players and novices alike in a friendly atmosphere playing matches in the Warrington and District Chess League and Richard Furness 400 League, but we also cater for recreational players as well as match players.
Our location close to the East Lancashire Road makes us not only suitable for players from St Helens, Haydock, Rainhill and Newton-Le-Willows, but also for players from as far away as Liverpool and Manchester who are looking for a "second" club. |
